CASE STUDY - GLACIER SALT ICE
Glacier Salt Ice is an Australian lifestyle brand producing and supplying premium salt flake ice.
They approached us to create a logotype with a distinctive, recognisable emblem that will scale across new product lines and grow into a fashion-forward, lifestyle brand.

Glacier Salt Ice wanted to a modern, lifestyle-label, trend brand. To do this, I started by designing a minimalist geometric brandmark. This mark features a stylised, faceted chunk of ice floating in the sea with a sun silhouette rising behind it.
By utilising sharp, interlocking angles rather than fine detail, the mark captures a street-wear edge that feels right at home on apparel, decals, or high-end outdoor hardware. It is a distinctive visual shorthand that allows the brand to be instantly recognisable even without the name present.
In conjunction with the mark, I have engineered a logotype built for modularity and impact. The modern, heavyweight lettering is grouped into a tight block format, creating a singular structural unit that mimics the solid presence of a glacial mass.
This logotype has been designed with versatility; it perfectly locks into a sleek linear format but it can be stacked vertically as well.
SALT ICE has been treated as a secondary sub-text. This ensures the brand is not limited to a single product line, providing flexibility to expand into a wider range of outdoor gear or lifestyle products in the future. The result is an engineered brand for the face of premium salt flake ice — and beyond.
